Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
Species reactivity
Human (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
Description
Enzymes are cleaving the substrate. If the substrate is DNA they are called restriction enzymes. Activating enzymes will cut off the domain that is biological active to become functional.
Specificity and cross-reactivity
N/A; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
Other names
mRNA capping enzyme; mRNA-capping enzyme; mRNA-capping enzyme; HCAP1; RNA guanylyltransferase and 5'-phosphatase; HCAP1; HCEIncluding the following 2 domains:Polynucleotide 5'-triphosphatase (EC:3.1.3.33)Alternative name(s):mRNA 5'-triphosphatase; TPase
Storage and shipping
After aliquoting the antibody it can be stored for 12 months at -20°C. Cycles of freezing and defrosting may denaturate the polypeptide chains of the antibodies, thus reducing their activity. It is recommended to minimize such cycles as much as possible.
