Store the antibody at +4C. Temperature variations in the range of 1 to 7 degrees Celsius are tolerable. We recommend NOT to freeze the antibody. Antibody is stable for 24 months.
Species reactivity
Human (Homo sapiens).; Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
Other names
HLA class II histocompatibility antigen, DR alpha chain; HLA class II histocompatibility antigen, DR alpha chain; HLA class II histocompatibility antigen, DR alpha chain; MHC class II antigen DRA; MHC cell surface glycoprotein; histocompatibility antigen HLA-DR alpha; major histocompatibility complex, class II, DR alpha; MHC class II antigen DRA
Specificity and cross-reactivity
It recognizes a non-polymorphic antigen of the HLA-DR, Ia region. LN-3 reacts with B-cells of the germinal centers and mantle zones. It also recognizes monocytes, macrophages, and interdigitating histiocytes. It is an excellent histiocytic marker in paraffin sections producing intense cytoplasmic staining. True histiocytic neoplasms are similarly positive. HLA-DR antigens also occur on a variety of epithelial cells and their corresponding neoplastic counterparts.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
