This antibody is specific for alpha and gamma specific actin isomers from skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle but does not recognize beta and nonsmooth muscle gamma actin isomers. In Western blots, XXX picks up a 42kD protein from skeletal muscle but not from epithelial cell lines. Species Crossreactivity: Crossreacts with Human. Not yet tested in other species.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
