Recognizes a protein-related eptiope on the chondroitin sulfate-attachment region of native fetal human articular cartilage proteoglycan. Does not react with chondroitinase or hyaluronidase digested fetal human cartilage aggrecan. Crossreactive with both fetal and adult aggrecans of other species. Fetal specificity is only demonstrated in the human system; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
