Specificity and cross-reactivity
Recognizes human nm23-HI protein, also known as nucleoside diphosphate kinase A (NDPK-A). There is minor crossreactivity with the homologous protein NDPK-B (nm23-H2).nm23 expression has been reported to correlate with improved prognosis in mammary carcinoma. The protein is implicated as a metastasis suppressor and expression is linked with less aggressive forms of this disease.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
