Specific for isoforms 1 and 2 of p120ctn. Crossreactivity with p120ctn isoforms 3 and 4 has not been observed. Reactivity of this antibody has been confirmed by Western blotting, immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence.(17). Species crossreactivity: human, mouse, rat and canine and chicken p120ctn. Positive control lysates include MDCK (canine) cells, NIH 3T3 (mouse) cells, Hela (human) cells, Va-2 fibroblasts (human), rat-2 fibroblasts and chicken embryo fibroblasts.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
