Storage and shipping
Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius. or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Prior to use, briefly centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before lid. If further dilution(s) are needed, they can be done with the appropriate assay buffer. _x000B_
Specificity and cross-reactivity
Antigen Recognized in Species and Xenopus laevis; XLKE-A6 (Xenopus laevis). Polypeptide Reacting p27 subunit of 20S cylinder particles. Cultured Cell Lines (tested so far) PLC (human); RVF (rat); Ptk2 (kangaroo rat). Recognizes the 20S subcomplex within the 26S heterooligomeric protein complex and the free cytosolic form of 20S cylinder particles; the epitope is resistant to formaldehyde fixation (up to 4%).; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
