Specificity and cross-reactivity
Recognizes gamma enolase, an enzyme involved in carbohydrate metabolism. The antibody may be used to stain neural tissue and labels most tumors of neuroectodermal and neuroendocrine origin. The antibody does not recognize the alpha or beta isoenzymes of enolase. Species Crossreactivity: Human, canine, guinea pig and rat. ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
