Recognizes MAP-2 protein (Mr 300kD) from bovine brain. Strongly crossreacts with MAP-2 from human, rat, mouse and chicken brains. Reacts with the high MW forms (2a & 2b) of MAP-2 but not with the low MW form (2c).; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
