Species reactivity
Human (Homo sapiens), Monkey, Rat (Rattus norvegicus); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
Specificity and cross-reactivity
Recognizes endogenous levels of total human keratins 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 13 and 18. Does not crossreact with other keratins. Species Crossreactivity: Rat, monkey.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
Properties
For facs or microscopy Alexa 1 conjugate.Alexa Fluor 633 is a practical alternative to APC as well as Cy5. MBS Monoclonals made this Alexa Fluor 633 conjugate that can be used in multi-color flow cytometry with instruments equipped with a second red laser or red diode. It is detected in the FL4 detector of the core's upgraded 2-laser FACScans. Like other Alexa Fluor dyes, the Keratin, pan ( ) exhibits uncommon photo stability, making it an ideal choice for fluorescent microscopy.
Storage and shipping
Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add glycerol (40-50%) and aliquot. Freeze the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Prior to use, briefly centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before lid. If further dilution(s) are needed, they can be done with the appropriate assay buffer.
