Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) also known as endothelial plasminogen activator inhibitor or serpin E1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SERPINE1 gene. Elevated PAI-1 is a risk factor for thrombosis and atherosclerosis

Recognizes human PAI-1. Specific for plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 and exhibits inhibitory characteristics. The antibody binds to the F-Helix of PAI-1. This PAI-1/MoAB complex acts as a substrate for its target proteinases tPA and uPA. Species Crossreactivity: mouse.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage..
