Description
The ATPase alpha 1, Na, K is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood.
Species reactivity
Canine, Porcine, Rat (Rattus norvegicus), Sheep; Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
Specificity and cross-reactivity
Recognizes the 1 subunit of rat, sheep, pig and dog Na+/K+ ATPase-. Detects a band of ~110kDa by Western blot. Does not cross-react with Xenopus and chicken Na+/K+ ATPase- 1 or with rat Na+/K+ ATPase- 2. Recognizes an epitope between aa 496-506 of sheep kidney Na+/K+ ATPase-.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
