Specificity and cross-reactivity
This antibody labels a monomorphic determinant of rat MHC Class I (RT-1A), however quantitative measurements suggest that not all of the Class I molecules are recognized. The antibody has been used in immunoaffinity purification of rat MHC Class I molecules. ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
