Storage and shipping
Store the antibody ats should be kept in the range of 1-7 degrees Celsius.. Do Not Freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. Prior to use, briefly centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before lid. If further dilution(s) are needed, they can be done with the appropriate assay buffer. AlexaFluor conjugates are sensitive to light.

MBS Monoclonals made this Alexa Fluor 633 conjugate that can be used in multi-color flow cytometry with instruments equipped with a second red laser or red diode. It is detected in the FL4 detector of the core's upgraded 2-laser FACScans. Like other Alexa Fluor dyes, the S6 Ribosomal Protein, phosphorylated (Ser235/236) ( ) exhibits uncommon photo stability, making it an ideal choice for fluorescent microscopy.
Specificity and cross-reactivity
Detects endogenous levels of ribosomal protein S6 only when phosphorylated at Ser235 and 236. The antibody was conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 647 under optimal conditions with an F/P ratio of 2-5. The Alexa Fluor® 647 dye is maximally excited by red light (e.g. 633 nm He-Ne laser). Unconjugated antibody reacts with human, monkey, mouse and rat Phospho-S6 Ribosomal protein and it is expected that Phospho-S6 Ribosomal Protein (Ser235/236) Rabbit mAb (Alexa Fluor® 647 conjugate) will also recognize Phospho-S6 in these species.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
