Species reactivity
N/A; Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
Specificity and cross-reactivity
This affinity purified antibody Detects a ~78kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of Hsc70 plant BiP on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from apple, asparagus, carrot, corn, lettuce, orange, potato, spinach, tomato, Arabidopsis thaliana leaves, seeds and siliques, woody plant bark tissue and tobacco. Although this antibody can be used for immunoprecipitations under native conditions, it is not recommended for immunoprecipitating BiP from tomato lysates. This antibody does not cross react with E. coli DnaK, mammalian Hsc70, recombinant hamster BiP or spinach cytosolic Hsc70. ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
