Storage and shipping
Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage, For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Specificity and cross-reactivity
Detects endogenous levels of AMPK alpha1 only when phosphorylated at Ser485. The antibody does not cross-react with phosphorylated AMPK alpha2 or other related proteins. Species Crossreactivity: human, hamster, monkey, mouse and rat.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited.
