This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.

CD28 This item recognizes the rat cell surface antigen CD28, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein, expressed by the majority of T lymphocytes and a subset of NK cells. CD28 is an essential costimulatory receptor for T cell activation and a modulator of T-cell cytokine production. Ligands of CD28 include CD80 (B7-1), CD86 (B7-2) and P13-kinase. Clone JJ319 has been identified as a highly effective co-stimulator of T cell proliferation and IL-2 secretion by resting T cells; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
