Rats are used to make rat monoclonal anti mouse antibodies. There are less rat- than mouse clones however. Rats genes from rodents of the genus Rattus norvegicus are often studied in vivo as a model of human genes in Sprague-Dawley or Wistar rats.

ENDOTHELIAL CELLS This item recognises a 250 kDa antigen present on fully differentiated continuous blood endothelial cells. Expression is inconsistent or absent on sinusoidal endothelial cells of the liver.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Prior to reconstitution Keep the antibody refrigerated at +4 degrees Celsius. Temperature variations in the range between +1C to +7C are tolerable. After reconstitution For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Repeated freeze - thaw cycles may denature the peptide chains of the antibody and therefore should be maximally avoided. Shelf Life: 12 months from date of reconstitution.
