Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short-term storage and at -20 degrees Celsius for long-term.Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. the antibody should be stored undiluted. Repeated freeze - thaw cycles may denature the peptide chains of the antibody and therefore should be maximally avoided. CD23 This item recognises murine CD23, which is the 49kD low affinity Fc receptor for IgE (Fc epsilon RII). In the mouse, CD23 is primarily expressed on mature B lymphocytes including follicular dendritic cells. CD23 is known to play an important role in IgE binding but reports suggest that CD23 may also be involved in B-cell proliferation and differentiation. Clone B3B4 is reported to block the binding of IgE to Fc epsilon RII; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
