This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.

p53 This item is specific for wild type murine oncoprotein p53 of mW 50kD. The epitope recognised is between amino acids 88 and 109. _x000D__x000D_p53 becomes tightly complexed to SV40 large T antigen in SV40 transformed cells, resulting in a greatly increased stability. In transformed murine 3T3 cells p53 levels may be 1,000 fold higher than in parental cells. PAb246 recognises an epitope of p53 that is unstable in the absence of SV40 large T antigen.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
