This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.

Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short-term storage and at -20 degrees Celsius for long-term.Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. the antibody should be stored undiluted. Repeated freeze - thaw cycles may denature the peptide chains of the antibody and therefore should be maximally avoided. BORRELIA BURGDORFERI SENSU STRICTO This item recognises Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto. It is a causative agent of Lyme disease, the most common vector-borne disease in North America and Eurasia. Lyme disease is contracted through a bite from a tick infected with B. burgdorferi. It is an inflammatory disease with a wide range of symptoms, including a rash, arthritis, cardiac and neurological symptoms. Most symptoms respond well to antibiotics, but the use of antibiotics is most successful early in infection. An accurate method for the early diagnosis of Lyme disease is yet to be developed. ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
