Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. CD147 This item recognises CD147, a 42-48KDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein, expressed highly on activated lymphocytes and to a lesser extent on resting cells and some endothelia. The antigen contains two Ig-like domains and an unusual transmembrane domain containing a charged glutamic acid residue and is structurally homologous to chicken blood brain barrier antigen HT7 Clone OX-47 is reported to be suitable for use in Western blotting; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
