CD41/CD61 This item recognises the chicken integrin CD41/61. CD41/61 is a heterodimeric cell surface protein that is expressed on chicken thrombocytes and cells of the thrombocyte lineage. Avian thrombocytes are nucleated equivalents of mammalian platelets which play a role in coagulation and phagocytosis. Clone 11C3 is reported to induce thrombocyte activation; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
