This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.This is against a protein of mus musculus directed antibody.

Rats are used to make rat monoclonal anti mouse antibodies. There are less rat- than mouse clones however. Rats genes from rodents of the genus Rattus norvegicus are often studied in vivo as a model of human genes in Sprague-Dawley or Wistar rats.

CD147 Recognises mouse CD147 (also known as basigin). CD147 is a cell surface glycoprotein that is widely expressed on leukocytes, red cells, platelets and endothelial cells. The reported functions of CD147 are diverse and include involvement in T-cell activation, cell adhesion and induction of matrix metalloproteinases. _x000D_OX114 recognises both isoforms of CD147, the common form containing 2 Ig-like domains and the rare form containing 3 Ig-like domains. Note that due to expression of CD147 by erythrocytes increased amounts of antibody may be required for staining of whole blood samples.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
