CD40 This item recognises chicken CD40, a type I intergral membrane protein, which is a member of the tumour necrosis factor receptor family. In chickens, CD40 is expressed on immature and mature B-cells, monocytes and macrophages. The binding of the CD40 ligand to CD40 is reported to play an important role in chicken B-cell development.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited.
