Repeated freeze - thaw cycles may denature the peptide chains of the antibody and therefore should be maximally avoided. CD144 Rat anti Pig CD144, clone 123 recognises a 120-130kD a single pass type I membrane protein considered to be the porcine homologue of human CD144, also known as VE-Cadherin or Cadherin-5. VE-cadherin is expressed by endothelial cells and is important in cell-cell adhesion. VE-Cadherin is highly susceptible to proteolytic degradation..; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
