Specificity and cross-reactivity
Bacillus anthracis Spore Antigen (Anthrax) Recognizes 92-94K protein bands in Western blot of B. anthracis spore extract. No cross-reactivity found in ELISA with B. anthracis vegetative cells, B. globigii, B. subtilis and B. cereus spores.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
