Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
Species reactivity
Human (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
Storage and shipping
Store lyophilized product at 2 to 8 degree C. After reconstitution, aliquot and For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. The addition of 0.1% (w/v) sodium azide is recommended for storage of the reconstituted form for up to one month at 2
Specificity and cross-reactivity
CD41, Platelet gpIIb IIIa Reacts with gpIIb in the intact complex with gpIIIa, but not with IIb or IIIa, separately. Inhibits platelet aggregation induced by thrombin, collagen and ADP. The molecular weight of the recognized complex is 135kDa/95kDa.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
