Specificity and cross-reactivity
MAP-2 (2a + 2b) Microtubule Associated Protein 2 Recognizes (Mr 300kDa) MAP-2 protein from bovine brain. The antibody strongly cross-reacts with MAP-2 from human, rat, mouse and chicken brains. Anti-MAP-2 (Clone AP20) reacts with the high molecular wei; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
