Synuclein, alpha Reacts well with alpha-synuclein in Western blots and frozen and formalin-fixed/paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Recognizes human alpha-synuclein. Synuclein-alpha is the major component of Lewy bodies and Lewy neuritis in sporadic PD; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
