Specificity and cross-reactivity
Clostridium botulinum Toxin B (a.a. 1278-1291) Binds to intact whole C. botulinum Toxin B, amino acids 1278-1291. Has been found to stain Neuro2A cells treated with GT1b ganglioside prior to the addition of C. botulinum Toxin B. Inhibits the entry of C; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
