Specificity and cross-reactivity
Reacts equally with free cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and cTnI forming complexes with other troponin components. Not affected by heparin, phosphorylation, oxidation and troponin complex formation. Recognizes an epitope located between amino acid residues 86-90 of cTnI. No cross-reaction with skeletal muscle troponin I.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
