Specificity and cross-reactivity
Recognizes human ORC1, a sub-unit of the Origin Recognition Complex (ORC) which is involved in the initiation of DNA replication. In human cells expression of ORC1 has been shown to be low in quiescent cells, but dramatically induced upon stimulation of cell growth.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
