Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
Species reactivity
Human (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
Other names
CD19; B-lymphocyte antigen CD19; B-lymphocyte antigen CD19; OTTHUMP00000122551; differentiation antigen CD19; T-cell surface antigen Leu-12; B-lymphocyte surface antigen B4; CD19 molecule; B-lymphocyte surface antigen B4; Differentiation antigen CD19; T-cell surface antigen Leu-12
Storage and shipping
Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Specificity and cross-reactivity
Can be use for the discrimination of B-cells and B-cell neoplasms in frozen tissue sections and the identification and separation of B-cells from peripheral blood samples by flow cytometrical techniques. The CD19 antigen is a membrane glycoprotein (Mr 90kD), expressed by B-cell and pre-B-cell lines (97-100%). T-cells and monocytic cell lines are negative. BC-3 reacts with non-T-ALL and CLL cells, T-ALL and acute myeloid leukemia cells are negative.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
