Specificity and cross-reactivity
Recognizes Human late stage inflammatory macrophages. The antigen recognized is an 86kD protein (unreduced conditions), probably a glycoprotein on the cell surface and within the cytoplasm of mature macrophages. Reported to recognize microglia stem cells. Species Reactivity: Human, rhesus monkey (macrophages) and porcine (alveolar macrophages and Kupffer cells).; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
