Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
Species reactivity
Mouse (Mus musculus); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
Storage and shipping
May be stored at Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius. before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable for at least 12 months at Keep the antibody refrigerated at +4 degrees Celsius. Temperature variations in the range between +1C to +7C are tolerable. Freezing allophycocyanin conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. Allophycocyanin conjugates are sensitive to light.
Specificity and cross-reactivity
Recognizes the mouse F4/80 antigen, a 160kD glycoprotein expressed by most mouse macrophages. Binds to macrophages from different sites including the peritoneal cavity, lung, spleen and thymus, to blood monocytes and to macrophages derived from bone marrow precursors in culture. F4/80 antigen is not expressed by lymphocytes or polymorphonuclear cells.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
