Specificity and cross-reactivity
Recognizes phospho-Src, Mr 60kD. Does not crossreact with the non-phosphorylated form of Src or with unrelated phosphorylation sites. Predicted to recognize all Srcfamily members phosphorylated at the tyrosine corresponding to Tyr416 of avian Src. Species Crossreactivity: Human, mouse and rat.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
Storage and shipping
Lyophilized powder may be stored the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 50% glycerol and For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
