Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
Form/Appearance
Supplied as a powder lyophilized from a solution containing PBS with 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide. Reconstitute with 1ml sterile ddH2O. Conjugated to R-Phycoerythrin (PE).
Description
cDNA genes are a locus (or region) of DNA for functional transcript RNA or protein. An ELISA is used to detect the expressed protein in biological fluids, serum, saliva.
Species reactivity
Mouse (Mus musculus); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
Storage and shipping
May be stored at Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius. before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius. as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months at Keep the antibody refrigerated at +4 degrees Celsius. Temperature variations in the range between +1C to +7C are tolerable. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
Specificity and cross-reactivity
Recognizes murine lymphocyte activation gene-3 (LAG-3). Recognizes an epitope within the D2 domain of CD223. Reported to block the in vitro function of murine LAG-3 but studies suggest that the antibody does not block binding of LAG-3 to MHC class II.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
