Recognizes an epitope located between aa169-178 of cTnI. Reacts equally with free cardiac troponin I (cTnl) and cTnI forming complexes with other troponin components (in the presence of 5mM EDTA). Not affected by heparin, phosphorylation and oxidation. No crossreactivity with skeletal muscle troponin I. ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Prior to use, briefly centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before lid. If further dilution(s) are needed, they can be done with the appropriate assay buffer.
