Influenza virus type B nucleoprotein (NP) Influenza virus type B nucleoprotein, also known as NP, is composed of a 560 amino acid sequence and is type-specific in influenza viruses. The NP encapsidates the virus genome to form a ribonucleoprotein (RNP) particle for the purposes of transcription and packaging. The monoclonal antibody, 3D7, has been shown to specifically recognize type B influenza virus NP in virus infected cell culture and patients' samples. This clone can be used as a capture antibody on ELISA.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution.
