These antibodies are excite for emission at 678nm and detected at a 694 nm wavelengths.

Cy5 antibodies are excited by the 650-nanometer wave of an argon laser and detected at a 670-nanometer captor.

This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.

Rats are used to make rat monoclonal anti mouse antibodies. There are less rat- than mouse clones however. Rats genes from rodents of the genus Rattus norvegicus are often studied in vivo as a model of human genes in Sprague-Dawley or Wistar rats.

Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Murine CD16/32 (CD16/Fc gamma II and CD32/Fc gamma III receptors) The lymphocyte Fc gamma receptors recognize the Fc portion of IgG, presented either as immune complexes or as free antibody. The different classes of receptors are distinct because of varying size, tissue distribution and affinity for IgGs. The Fc type II receptor is expressed on a wide variety of cells including B cells, hematopoietic cells, monocyte/macrophages, neutrophils, platelets, Langerhans cells, eosinophils, basophils, trophoblasts, and endothelial cells of the placenta.^1, 2 The Fc gamma type III receptors are higher affinity than the type II and are expressed on macrophages, NK cells and neutrophils. Both types of receptors can be expressed on the same cell and in varying ratios.^1 The receptors are constitutively expressed, although cytokines and lymphokines can modulate their expression.^4 Besides identifying Fc gamma R^+ cells, monoclonal antibodies to the Fc gamma II/III receptor have been used to block Fc receptor binding of IgG, Fcmediated signal transduction and effector functions, clearance of immune complexes and to attenuate infection by organisms dependent on Fc gamma R for parasitic invasion.^4-6 The monoclonal antibody 93 recognizes a conformational epitope formed by Fc gamma II and Fc gamma III receptors.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
