Human CD9 CD9 is a 24 kDa member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily (TM4-SF) of cell surface receptors. It is expressed strongly on platelets, lymphoid progenitor cells, activated lymphocytes and endothelia, and, weakly, on eosinophils, granulocytes, monocytes, and macrophages. CD9 functions as an adhesion molecule where it mediates platelet aggregation and activation.1-3; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

The purified antibody (UNLB) is supplied as 0.1 mg purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.2. No preservatives or amine-containing buffer salts added.
