Other names
CD79b; B-cell antigen receptor complex-associated protein beta chain; B-cell antigen receptor complex-associated protein beta chain; Ig-beta; B-cell-specific glycoprotein B29; immunoglobulin-associated B29 protein; CD79b antigen (immunoglobulin-associated beta); CD79b molecule, immunoglobulin-associated beta; B-cell-specific glycoprotein B29; Ig-beta; Immunoglobulin-associated B29 protein
Storage and shipping
Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Prior to use, briefly centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before lid. If further dilution(s) are needed, they can be done with the appropriate assay buffer.
Specificity and cross-reactivity
Recognizes an extracellular region of human CD79b, a cell surface antigen expressed by B lymphocytes. The CD79b molecule (also known as Ig beta and B29) associates with CD79a to form a heterodimer that is non-covalently linked to surface immunoglobulin, forming the B-cell receptor (BCR) complex. ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
